The 2009 edition of battle at the border will be held at some of
the finest facilities in the area.
Recreation Park
Recreation Park in Port Chester will
once again serve as the headquarters
and will host the semi-final and final
games. "Rec Park" is an old fashioned
style ball park. It has a hill similar toTals
hill at the Houston Astros Minute Maid
Park. In left center it combines the
feeling of both Fenway park and
Wrigley field as our 40 foot high fence
is covered with Ivy. The odd shaped
dimensions, 300 left - 330 left center -
375 to center - 425 to right center and
309 down the line in right make for an
unpredictable and exciting game.
Purchase College
The baseball field on the
beautiful campus at Purchase
College was new in 2006 and
has been kept in spectacular
shape since. Thanks to
assistant athletic director Chris
Bisignano and athletic director Ernie
Palmieri we will be using this top notch
facility. You and your players should
make time to look at the campus and
talk to Purchases Coach Guerrero. Click

Cubetta Stadium at Scalzi Park
Cubetta stadium in Stamford is a 3500 seat
stadium with one of the best conditioned
fields around. Thanks to Butch Lamotta of
Stamford Babe Ruth for helping us secure
this fine facility.
Port Chester High School
and Middle school
The High school field was completely
rebuilt in 2008 and we will be utilizing
this field for several games over the
course of the weekend.
The middle school field received a
major make over in 2008 and we will be
playing several night games on this
field.
Other Fields
We are in the process of securing other
fields in the immediate area. With the
exception of Scalzi, all fields will be
within 3 miles of each other making it
convenient for players, coaches and
fans.
